Expressing myself through dance

I have a degree in Translation obtained in Portugal. After moving to the UK, my passion for dance led me to gaining my dance teaching qualifications through the International Dance Teaching Association, and I have been running African Movement dance classes since 2009. I have also been involved in many events across the country. With my dance company,  Mulembas D'Africa I want to share my culture, empower others and create a community.

My top tip! Connect, be curious and volunteer to learn and to understand the culture. Knock on organisations doors and ask questions. Don't be afraid!
